Real Estate is a global market and you should have a website that shows off your home in the best light. Whether you're using an agent or selling the home yourself, additional exposure in today's market will give your house the best potential for a future sale. If you're going to sell your home without an agent, a website is an absolute necessity as the majority of people searching for homes begin their search online. You may also be located on an exotic island like this waterfront retreat. If so, then you're also attempting to reach people from all around the world that could be the potential buyer of your home.
We were approached by the owner of this beautiful home in Abaco, Bahamas because they're looking to sell their home as soon as possible. Unfortunately, their old website was not performing like they had hoped and they needed assistance with the search engine optimization for their website. They also wanted to be able to make changes to the content of their website over the coming months if the price of the house, or any other information, changes before the house sells. So, we refined most of content on their previous real estate website and migrated it into our content management system. We also created several new pages and added descriptive terms to all the images they had of their home.
The design that was being used for the website was also fairly compact and certain pieces needed to be updated for a better quality presentation. We took the old design and recreated pieces of it while expanding the width several hundred pixels to accommodate the functions of our content management system. Along with updating the design, we also added a few unique pieces such as the banner which updates whenever the website re-caches the information.
We have also adding caching to the system to speed up the performance, added social tools, searching and so much more. Over the coming months the owner, with our assistance, will be adding new content to the website to give the website a huge bump in the SEO performance.
